I "should" be sleeping considering I have to drive back up to Chicago in approximately 4 hours.
Instead, I'm wide awake and totally excited about a new woman entrepreneur I came across in my endless quest for self development resources and inspiration!
Sleep clearly isn't happening anytime soon so I thought I'd share...

Alexandra Franzen. I originally heard about her through an interview she did with my other role model, Tiphani Montgomery. Alexandra makes $1500 a day! No, I'm not exaggerating. She basically helps her clients identify a clear vision for themselves and their business and then rapidly creates amazing copy for websites, promotional materials etc.
I haven't even met, spoken with, or even laid eyes on the woman and I'm already in awe. Let me tell you why. First, her personality jumps off of every page of her website and blog. This is such a welcome change from all of the dry marketing and social media stuff I've been reading lately. I literally felt super energized and excited after reading it.
Second, I signed up for her newsletter and received the link to several different free resources. Instead of putting them in a special email folder I have for "stuff I plan to get back to eventually", I actually read them immediately.

The first one I went through was the 3 Questions To Get MAGNETIC CLARITY.
I literally felt like I had done the fast food version of a life coaching session!
I felt empowered, inspired, confident, excited, and a whole host of other positive adjectives after completing it. Most importantly, I had a clear vision of what my unique abilities and styles are and a succinct way to explain it to other people.
If you “kind of” have an idea of what you might want to do with your life and maybe you're “sort of” aware of what your talents and skills are, you need to do this worksheet! It will help you cut through of all the kind of/sort of/maybe/possibly nonsense and discover exactly what it is you have to offer the world.
If she can do all this through a free worksheet, I can only imagine what her full day Velocity sessions are all about.
Definitely an investment I'm going to save up for...
I just discovered Alexandra through some good friends of mine who have been fortunate enough to work with her. I, too, LOVE Alexandra's original voice and refreshing communication. I just signed up for her mailing list and even her "confirm now" email made me smile. LOVE that. Oh, how much I want my own communications with people to be that delightful and alive and full of vitality. I want every email people get to be a gift. I haven't even received anything else from her except the "confirm now" email and already I've learned a ton! :-)

DeleteYour comment definitely made me smile so I would say you're doing pretty well in the delightful communication department! :-D I'm learning that engaging and truly connecting with people through the internet is really about allowing yourself to be authentically YOU. There are certain communication patterns and styles that we develop and use that are characteristically "us" that we may not even be aware of.
For example, the fact that you capitalized LOVE is meaningful and conveys a lot of information about your energy and personality. I "got it" and connected with you on that level. The tone of your comment would have been dramatically different had you not capitalized that particular word.
***Homework assignment: (I'm notorious for giving homework assignments ;-D It's one of my "dance moves" as Alexandra would say.)
Pay attention to the way you speak (or even text!) with your best friend or friends. Are there certain phrases you use? A certain tone? Patterns of speech? That's your unique, delightful and exciting style! Incorporate more of that into your writing.
